MK Handmade & Vintage Weekend Extravaganza, a highlight in the region's calendar, with a reputation as one of the best fairs of its kind in the country, returns to thecentre:mk for the weekend of 28 Feb and 1 March. It showcases some of the finest and most affordable designer-makers, artists and vintage collectors in our region.

It's free entry to Middleton Hall, in front of John Lewis, which is transformed into a vibrant treasure trove of 128 indoor market stalls, a paradise for lovers of the unusual and unique, crammed with an eclectic mix of thousands of high quality handmade and vintage bargains you won’t find in the shops.


Forget Brighton or Camden - this is indoors and it never allows bought-in retail goods. 

Organiser, Jacqui Lewis: Our visitors enjoy an excitingly different shopping experience in the centre of MK. We are well known for high standards and our carefully selected mix of exhibitors offer everything from furniture to fashions, from jewellery to jukeboxes; always the gorgeous, the cool and the quirky. There’s something for every age and occasion with all exhibitors passionate about what they do, and every item a one-off. 



Stalls this time include unusual European pieces for your home straight from the brocantes of France and beyond, unique jewellery repurposed from antique silverware, the opportunity to purchase affordable original art, a collection of exquisite vintage designer dresses, collectable handmade bears, kitchenalia, glass, china and collectables, fabrics and haberdashery, handcrafted bags and luxury handmade quilts, doll's house miniatures, reclaimed timber handcrafted into unique items for the home and garden, our famous brownie stall, our own ice cream bar, and far too many more to mention. Exhibitors are also always happy to take bespoke commissions. You can be sure if you've got a special mum, this will be the place to get a special Mothers' Day gift for her.

The stalls are only there for 2 days - Saturday 28th Feb (9am-7pm) and Sunday 1st March (10.30am-5pm) - remember to allow yourself a few hours to explore it all!

We are very selective and our purpose is to showcase some of the best independent makers, artists and vintage/retro traders, offering one of 128 large indoor market stalls which make up our indoor fair, which takes place over a weekend in front of John Lewis in the Milton Keynes shopping centre a few times each year. Because of our strict criteria, our weekends have a particularly high nationwide reputation and footfall of around 100,000 and we are well known for selling genuinely "made by the stallholder" and authentic vintage products only. Our standards are high and we insist on original and interesting, good quality, and affordable work, with attractive displays and friendly, enthusiastic exhibitors.
